I have a Band pass box in my MX-6. It BARELY fit into the trunk, had to remove the passenger seat and fold down the rear seats to slide it in. Made it myself, researched the design specs and used a 12" Phoenix Gold speaker. It freakin POUNDS!! The one good thing about having such a huge box, theres NO WAY anyone can ever steal it from the trunk, it'll never come through the back opening!
PLUS if u fold down one of the rear seats it creates more room for the air much like a hatchback.
