Boost cut has nothing to do with the turbo's ability to produce boost or the size of the turbo. It will have something to do with the time it takes to hit boost cut. Point is, boost cut will still come on when the boost level hits 12psi or what ever the level is. If the turbo is smaller it will spool quicker but may takelonger to pump 12psi of boost.

i always thought it was an amount of flow tripping the fuel/boost cut.. IE 230cfms of air... this just so happend to happen at 12psi on the stock turbo.. with a bigger turbo would the boostcut not happen sooner? or am i just confused :P
