had a reply from Steve regarding the importing of items with gas in them (Shock absorbers):

These will be Hazardous Goods. In this case the customer has to find out the following from the supplier (assuming the supplier is familiar with shipping these goods):
A. UN number- Class-Packing Group
B. Would the supplier be able to provide the "Shippers Declaration for Dangerous Goods" and pack these goods according to the IATA Regulations for air shipment.

We need all this information in order to see if these goods can be shipped by air and in what aircraft they can go on (Passenger or Cargo). The cost of shipping depends on that info.



I suggest you get this info before you use them. I sent the questions to Matt@probegarage.com but no reply yet.
