Forced Induction Anyone

Just thought why not make a small thread for people who are doing FI or might in the future and for people to get an idea on what it takes to FI the KLDE/KLZE engine

Ok well i'm Supercharging my Probe GT on the stock KLDE engine

List of parts/mods i've needed to do

Millenia S 280cc Injectors in fuel rail
Walbro 190lph/255lph Fuel Pump
Megasquirt V3 Built specificlly for the DE (with launch control)
Aeromotive FRP (not sure if i will need it)

Thats what i need for the fuel system to support boost

Cause i have a ATX i also needed to beef up my tranny

Level 10 Torque Converter (3000rpm stall speed)
Oversized regulator to keep line pressure stable
Boost valve to bump up line pressure
Transgo Shift Kit
Inline External Oil Filter
B&M Transmission cooler

General flush and some clutchbands replaced

Now for the Supercharger i went with a Clutched one so the cars NA but at the push of a button the super charger kicks in

I am using a Mr Speed 2.5 Shafted SC Kit and a M45 Supercharger from a mercades

I have to first get the Fuel Pump and Injectors installed with the Megasquirt and tune it so the car can run properly once thats done i will get the SC Shafted kit modded to fit a ATX (Only MTX Kits available)

Then i just have to put the supercharger on with some new blowoff valves (i have to get ones plumbed back into the system to be legal instead of ones that vent to atmosphere)

When thats finished my car will be boosting 7psi

As for the legal aspect well thats gonna cost afew extra $1000's going to EPA, Engineers and Vicroads
