not to fuel a fire or anything...but my exhaust DID fall off after the cat completely. the hangers must have broken off at some point before it, because once the pipe snapped the whole thing fell off and was hanging by a single rusted hanger where the muffler is.
yes, not having a flex pipe would have added to it cuz my other car didnt have a flex pipe either and i'm pretty positive that the vibrations are what caused the problem (aside from rust) in the first place.
ur right. money can be a bitch. sometimes it takes alot of work to get something done, whether it has to be done or u want it to be done. but u get to it when u get to it. simple as that. my suspension could probably cause me to die if something were to happen...but i can't afford to fix it yet. thats just how the cards fall.
