So i bought a vrs tubing kit for my probe gt. I got it because no one in new mexico can mandrel bend. So I called up a few shops to see how much it would cost to have it welded and have a muffler installed. Most of the shops were still quoting me $350ish to weld and istall it. So I say I will install it if they weld it still $250 for a no name muffler and some welds. I talked to a couple of guys I work with suggested just to run a pipe out the back and save the money on the muffler. Then order a muffler from online. So my question is would it be horribly loud with just a 2.5in catback with no muffler on stock boost and is there any negative effects besides the noise level?
