yup, that would be my 1st head gasket. I got the motor already togther and I never pulled the head off, just changed the crank. The guy I got it from ran it under boost, so I don't know if it was already damaged. My tune was pretty close, but there was a bit too much timing in it. So that could have done it. That happened in about and hour or first driving it. you learn from your mistakes
