Does anyone know how deep the dish is form a F2T piston and a F2 piston?
Talked with Bakmans tonight. If you are taking a 2.2 crank with a FE rod an a shaved F2 of F2T piston that would be a nice stroker option correct?
A normal FE-DOHC piston is a few mm below the deck. By this option the piston will come 4 mm above deck. You shave off that 4 mm minus the thickness of the gasket and minus 0.7mm for the squish. Than you will have a high compression 2.2i 16v, correct?
(I have here a F2T engine, F2 engine, FE-DOHC engine and a FE-DOHC shortblock. Tomorrow, if it's dry i will take the F2T and the FE-DOHC shortblock apart for some messurements)
