the initial design goals are to improve intake manifold flow over stock >=15% and to keep fabrication labor to a minimum. i have not reverse engineered the stock intake manifold to make calculations for plenum volume and runner lengths for a comparison to my initial design. my approach is basically to increase the flow by shortening the intake path and increasing size of throttle body. currently, as the design stands it will look something like this.
i may have another iteration following dyno if it isn't satisfactory, but i'm pretty confident it will meet my goals.
