Contrary to belief it is super simple to wire up the button if you are willing to keep the ignition switch in the car. Key does everything except start the car, button starts it.
If you are not willing to keep the ignition switch then you have a number of issues to overcome. Aside from the looks of it there is no reason to do it but it certainly can be done.
