I'm not certain, but I believe it's an 8mm metric thread. It's the same thread pitch and size as the bolts for the trans housing on the manual transmissions. Mazda usually uses the same thread pitch for damn near every bolt that's on our vehicles, they just vary in width. When I can give you an actual number size, I'll let you know.

Custom built hybrid mx3/626 shifter, chipped KLZE w/ DE valve springs and retainers, headers, full 2.5inch exhaust with test pipe, ram air, fidanza 9lbs flywheel w/ stage 2R clutch, PGT tranny with trans saver, PGT (eibach) suspension and driver seat, contour SVT rear sway bar.... need paint...
