this is the engine that died. it not only did that many runs, but was used on the street with full boost daily. not detuned for the street. it bent its rods in the long term from accumulated stress. rafi will find this out some time if he does enough drag runs, or thrashes the car hard enough on the street or track.

the rods have a limit, they are not golden. everything has a limit. the guy that bought fallguys engine found it before the rest of us after a number of months hammering it hard.

you can build your engine to put out 500hp for a few months or for a few 100 thousand k's. its up to you.

new rods provided that they are meatier (not lighter) with better fasteners to match are a good thing.
