I am fully aware of offset brackets for brake upgrades. Let me explain the situation for you a little clearer. Machining 1.3mm off the mating face is not the issue. There is enough material thickness for this. The issue is that the mounting holes for the suby calliper bracket requires that the holes in the upright be brought out by 3mm from the centre of the hub and together 4mm. This leaves very little material around the radius edge of the hub mounts.

By redrilling the upright this much, leaves 4mm between the outer edge of the mounting tab and mounting hole. I’m not comfortable enough with this. It is not possible to rotate the calliper around a few degrees and make up a bracket to suit the rotation due to the mounting tabs foul on the calliper body.

This was also the case when trying to mount the numerous other callipers I’ve tried. Have I mentioned that the 4 pot sumitomo RX7 Series 4 calipers are a close fit, but would also require a disc with a size about 345mm? The issue? Mounting tabs. I’m beginning to wish I could find a cheap calliper with radial mounts.

Not sure how much Dutch’s setup cost with the Wilwoods, but I may even go down this path.

Teh Telstar can NEVAH lose!
