That's not how it works. Stock manifold works best at low RPM, VICS was added for increased flow. F8 head which lacks the option will not have the flow VICS version has, ever.

If the VICS chamber breathing can be made sufficient, then having functional VICS is no hinderance. On the contrary, since there's really little boost up to 3500 RPM, having a functional VICS is a real benefit. Each butterfly is 42mm in diameter, they're rather large. If the chamber breathing can be improved, so can be high rpm/boost breathing.

Bottom line? VICS stays. It's not debatable.
