Okay, so I promised some progess pics of the body work, so here they are.
The body shop told me that it should be painted within the next month or two.
It is getting painted the same color as before (2002 Viper GTS Blue)... perhaps with a hint of light blue or silver pearl...
I decided to mold the front bumper as you can tell.
I will be fabricating a custom skid plate for the front bumper next week... so I don't screw up this new bumper.
Also, as you can tell, there is a fair sized gap between the bumper and hood.
The body shop can build up fibreglass on the bumper to make it meet the hood properly, but it will cost me about an extra $150... I am thinking I should do it.
The hood latch is all the way down, and it is somewhat of a push to close the hood so it latches.
The hood is also touching the headlights, so I don't think it can go down any further, therefore, I think the only way around the hood gap is to build the bumper up with fibreglass.
They seemed to find a [shizzle] load of small dents, and cracks around the car that even I didn't know about!
They also shaved my trunk badges and keyhole.
I am thinking about getting them to also fill in the rear side marker holes as well... just for a cleaner look.
Also, just incase your wondering why the bumper parts infront of the headlights are fibreglassed and such, is because it was all wavy and not high enough to meet the headlights. The bumper required a fair amount of modifying to get it to look the way it does now.
And just for good measure, a pic of my ZE... (sorry bout the dirtyness / dustyness lol)
