Well some one pmed me asking how to recover the headliner and the write up i made was too long for a pm so i thought i'd post it here an maybe have it moved into the project form

. Sorry i don't have pics. So please don't post here unless you have somthing to add until it is either moved or a mod says NO. Thanx.
First, you will have to remove all the trim. Its really not as difficult as it sounds. Start in the back and look in the right side back corner of the trim. There will be a little cap that covers a screw. Remove the cap carefully (2 of mine broke) and takeout the screw. Do the same for all four corners of the car.
Now take out the back trim that runs along the back windshield. It is held on by little snap things so all you have to do is pull (carefully).
Next do the rear side pieces. They will just pull off but you can't take them out of the car without alot of work so just pop off the snaps and let it hange down.
Next take out the center control box for the sunroof and rearview mirror. Do this by removing the snap in pannels and unscrewing the 4 screws holding it up. Once these are removed the wires for the sunroof control and lights will still be there - don't trie to disconect them. Simply remove the four screws that hold the whole assembly.
now remove the front trim along the winshield the same way you did the back.
Take out the sun visors and o sh** bars (or what ever u call them

)
Then take out the side front pieces.
Next, remove the dome light by uncovering it and taking out the two screws. Then unplug the wires from the assembly and remove it.
Now take out all the clips that are holding the headliner up. There are plastic ones one the back and some on the back that probably wont be reusable. I didn't replace them but you can get some at any autoparts store for cheap. I suggest you take out the back clips first and work your way foward because if you don't the front will hang down and damage the cardboard.
After all the clips are out slide the head liner back and it should drop down. Now for the fun part - getting it out of the car. The easiest way I found to do this is to lay the front seats allthe way back and manipulate it till you can get it out the door.
Now some people say to rip off the old stuff and some say to just cover over the old stuff. Its up to you but i couldn't see the current headliner as being up to the task so i scraped the old one off. Really it took the longest out of all the steps.
Headliner material can be found at most fabric stores and some auto upholstery shops. I also bought the spray adhesive at the fabric store (it was right next to the headliner material) It cost me $17 for the can and $8 a yard for the material. I think i bought 1.5 or 1.75 yrds. You don't need any extra foam or any thing it is built in to the headliner material.
Now take the headliner board and put it on something that won't mind glue overspray. Next, lay the headliner over the board and make sure every thing is liner up right. Fold half of it back and spray the board and the foam. (try to estamate where the foam will be in contact with the board as best as possible so u know where to spray or u'll end up glueing it to whatever is under it

) The directions on the can said to let it dry 1 min before joining the surfaces but by the time you get done spraying the surface most of it will have become tacky enough. Just makes sure you don't wait too long or it won't stick. Flip the material down onto the board slowly, smoothing it as you go. Try to get it to follow the curves as best you can. Then filp the other side and and do the same process.
Then just let it dry cut out the holes (they don't have to be big) and then reinstall. Time for a nap
I hope this helps and that the flipping part isn't to confusing - its hard to explain w/o pics. Basicaly do half at a time.
Good luck this was my first upholstery project but it was fairly easy. I definately recomend it as it is way cheaper that having it done.
