Ground the STI? Green one pin connector? WTF does that mean?-answered

Since I can't find the pictures I posted of the green one pin connector that you ground to check for codes, adjust timing, adjust idle. Here are some more titled appropriately for further searches.



Located amongst the wiring behind/under the drivers side strut mount. All of the connectors I have seen on MX6's have been green. However I HAVE see black connectors on more than a few Probes as well as green. The connections are the same however.



And grounding the test connector is exactly that, grounding it with a piece of wire. When you're done, wrap the wire around one of the strut threads and tuck underneath the rubber for use at a later time if need be





And there you have it.

That is the ground you make to have the check engine lihgt flash the codes right?
