Energy Suspension Endlinks/Sway Bar Bushings Part #'s and Pictures!! Date - 6/13/05
In an attempt to end any confusion floating around the board about what the part numbers are for the poly bushings and endlinks, I have them all at hand so I figured I would post them. Plus I wanted a chance to use my new scanner
I dated the title because i remember reading that some people thought the numbers might have changed a bit. So these are the most current Part #'s as far as I know... Hope this helps someone out in the long run and saves some time and confusion. these are the front sway bar endlinks - Part # - 9.8118RC these are the rear sway bar endlinks - Part # - 9.8120RCfor the front sway bar bushing i had originally posted the wrong part number. 9.5128R is the part number for the 24.2mm bar from the probe. The bushing is actually 24mm not 24.2, but nothing a little filing down cant fix. And these here are the rear sway bar bushings, which were also special order as well. - Part # - 9.5122R This is for the 18mm bar from the probeLast edited by Gabe17 : 7-13-05 at 1:37. |

Unless you have an 18mm rear sway bar, those rear bushings are going to be too large of a diameter.
Non greasable are available. According to Joel- "The LX front bar spacer is 70mm (2 and 5/8") making it match with Energy Suspension number 9.9117 the best. The GT bar (yes 24mm) was a bit longer at 73mm (2 and 7/8") matching up with number 9.8118." "The LX rear sway and GT sway both had the same size spacer though the GT has the beefier sway. Both measured at 41mm (1 and 5/8") and matching up with #9.8120." 24mm with bracket is 9.5128R this bracket is the 3 5/8 bracket non-greasable. 9.8120RC are the right ones for the rear links. Rear sway bar in 16mm is 11.5107 FYI- there are two bracket sizes for the front sway bar bushings in greasable and non. Last edited by SixSick6 : 6-13-05 at 21:07. |

Well, if you want to get the wrong part again, then follow Gabes advice and get the 15/16" 9.5160R which when you do the math is 23.8125 mm. If you want to get the RIGHT part, you need to follow my advice and buy 9.5128R which is 24mm.
FYI- the 24mm bar is 24.2 mm. |

The 98118s are 1/8" longer than the stock GT front sway links. 98117s are 1/8" shorter than stock. In the interest of leveling the sway bar, and using the excuse that the car has sagged at least 1/8" over the years, I went with the 7s, but the true proper method of finding the right sway links, especially for you lowered guys, is: Remove front sway links. Park car on flat surface (with wheels on, not jacked up). Put sway bar ends parallel to control arms, and measure the gap. Then use Energy's website to match up your measurement to a proper length sway link.
