Non OE intercooler piping part numbers

These numbers are for the bypass to intercooler hose and for the intercooler to charge pipe hose (metal pipe to throttle body)

Important note: There are 4 different intercoolers for the MX6 and Probe GT. I have found the following intercoolers:

Inlet and outlet parallel and a 90º angle with the intercooler _i
Inlet and outlet angled and parallel with each other _/

And inlet and outlet offset from each other both stright and angled.

My intercooler has both inlets straight at a 90º angle but offset from each other about a 1/2". The lower intercooler outlet is closer to the drivers side than the top.

Anyways, if you have the same intercooler that i do, these part numbers will work for you should you need either the bypass to intercooler hose or the intercooler to charge pipe hose:

Kragen/Parts America:
C70592 Bypass to intercooler $10.99 -

Intercooler to charge pipe E70759 $15.99

Here are pictures:

Obviously a little cut to fit. But this one is the bypass to intercooler.

Two Kragen hoses on the left and two stock hoses on the right ^

If you're wondering, all hoses are covered with several layers of high temp radiator hose tape. It works as a cast so to say and is a version of a poor mans hardpipe.

Thats why I wrote it

If you were to go to Mazda for all said hoses, you'd end up spending $200 for rubber.

No listing for the turbo to bypass-pipe hose? And Damian, exactly what brand/type of tape did you use and where did you get it? I went looking for some before my last track day and couldn't find anything exactly like it; closest I came was some "hose repair tape" at kragen that was basically black duct tape.

Apparently, I'm Mazda fo' lyfe...

It's probably the same thing. Although mine also included the words "high temp". I picked it up from Car Quest at around $8.99 a roll. It is similar to duct tape in appearance. The *string* inside is a like a screen and holds the piping like a cast. I made sure to wrap mine a couple times using overlaping and then overlap it coming in the opposite direction as well.

*Important note* Make sure that you don't wrap all the way to the ends. You'll never get the hose to stretch over the piping if you do
