thats why you picked them hmm.

i thought it was just because bmw's are just famous for lighting. I didn't think it really mattered. I figured an HID projector works just as well as a halogen projector. Sounds stupid of me to say that but i knew that the tsx is the best but i mean what really makes one better than the other. To me the infiniti looks just like a beamer, my old teg's look like a cadillac. They just look like they are all the same lens.

There are subtle and not-so subtle differences. Some of the glass projectors are tinted blue or purple, some of the projector bowls are deeper/shallower/taller/wider than others. Some projector glass is frosted, frensled or dimpled...while others like 300zx halogen projectors are crystal clear, as well as TSX and TL projectors are. You can make a variety of 'hybrid' projectors as well. HID planet has an array of threads on what people do to get the best light.

Another thing...halogen projector bowls are shaped different than the HID projector bowls. HID bowls are crescent shaped, while halogen's are 'circle' shaped; because of the light output coming from the bulb.

Really?

not really sure how to get my q45 lens's into a housing. The lens are i great shape. However the plug in may be a different bulb and its projector housing mounts at a 45 degree angle AND the bastard is like 4 or 5 inches long. So i'm open to ideas. I have a spare GT headlight that i was going to mess with but i'm not sure how to get started with this project. Cause while Zach's projector is small and one piece for the most part mine is separated into pieces. I'll post pics if you need em.

Yeah...it's been a while, and I've just been staring at those parts in the box

I've had a few issues like a new head to put on, my tbird turbine blew up, so it was down for a while while getting it fixed, etc. I'll be starting it back up again, and more so that it's actually nice now, and longer daylight.

Not sure if I already mentioned it, but I'll be using the stock glass, putting a cover of sorts around the projector and then sealing them up in the back. Pretty quick and painless. Just have to sort out the wiring harness after that's all done.

Really?
