for the headlight, i would have hacked the back of the projector base, and left the headlight plug. that way it would be more sealed. but thats just my thinking.
Yeah, but if hacking the projector base didn't work out, then I've sacrificed an important piece of this retrofit. It's cheaper to find a headlight for an MX6, than it is to purchase an E46 HID projector with a variable cutoff.

In due time, but will involve silicone, a hot glue gun, screws, JB Quik Weld, some flat black paint and a trip to the local hardware store, for possibly some plumbing hardware.
The ONLY thing stylized item I might do, is when I put the mirror-plexi cover in place, I might drill out a couple holes and install a cut clear lexan rod to allow some light through...like a driving/city light...but I even doubt that. Just have to source some sort of reflector for the stock city/driving light.
thats like making this really cool project amazingly gay.
Angel eyes look good on one thing. A beamer and maybe the new lexus or mercedes that was just recently done. even then i don't think they are all that spectacular. Just a ring around a headlight you know that is already there.
in my old tiburon, i made a set of angel eye's out of boredom. turned out really good, and i really liked them. i might make a set for the 626 also when i get everything figured out. im probably gonna black out the headlights also. or at least mostly. as said, i havent really figured out what i want to do with them. just lots of different idea's.
for my 1st try at anything like that before, id say i did better then most at making them.
well the factory wiring to the inner parking lights plugs right into the fog harness. Sweetness, so the fogs are like uber bright lol. I love em, but the headlights aren't very bright. Little to no difference on the low beam and high beam. So i think its because the housing on the inside isn't a mirror finish. I still think they look great but i figure if i do this rather than casting the beam all over the place it should focus it more and it'll fix it enough for me.
I still love em though, thanks man.
the paint i got said chrome metallic but it came out more silverish and not so mirror like. i should have tried somethin else but i wanted to get them out to ya. sorry bout that.
