Beating a dead horse I know but........Hmmm...........just bought an 88 MX6GT 4WS and want to know what the wheel setup (i.e. size and offset)is like for others that have lowered their 4WS and used an aftermarket rim.

[quote=mx6GT91;1129236] "The smallest center bore Ive seen was the Lexus IS300 rim. I bored it out for my friends Eclipse".

Question: What did you use to enlarge the centerbore?
I assume they were steel wheels ?
I want to fit late model Dodge Truck rims/wheels to an eariler Dodge Truck.
& need to open up the center bore. And advise much appreciated.

This may be a dead thread but when I was looking for answers it sure helped me. Talk about offsets was very confusing untill I found a web site explaining it very clearly. I googled bolt pattern and found a site at discount wheel wholesalers. They explained that the (+) and (-) are where the mounting face of the wheel is in compairison to the front of the wheel. (0) being dead center of the wheel, (+) being toward the front of the wheel and (-) being toward the back. They also explained how to estimate the size tire as you add inches to your wheels. My MX is 185X70X14, to go to a 15" rim the tires should be 195X60's. This is just a guideline and not gospel. Take it for what it's worth.

I think someone posted that "no, they won't fit", but I found a pair of Mazda 6 17" wheels for sale for a great price, will try to get the pic in here, can someone confirm if they do/don't fit?

Edit: how the hell do you post a pic from your PC, when I try to insert a pic it only lets me try to insert from a web link??
