If they fit a probe, than they will fit yours. I run probe second gen ugly ass swirlies, with 195/60/15. Its as close to stock as you can get

yea, im running steelys right now, but the tires on them are pretty fresh
(2 are a few weeks old, and 2 are about a year old)
so i guess the new wheels would be summer wheels

Well I was at pepboys today looking at rims. Finally about to buy some. I was looking at the Motegi Mr7s and the guy behind the desk for one said my pattern is 5x100, which was offered on the mr7s, also he said the computer said the biggest that will fit my car is 16x7s. I told him I know for a fact that 17s fit that car but the site he was showing me said other wise. Either way I wasn't sure about the bolt pattern and people are saying it's 5x114.3. The list also said it offered 5x4.5. The guy was telling me that 17x7s from another company may fit but not these. Basically I don't think he knew what he was talking about. The offset was 40. I take it the 17x7s will fit my car right? BTW it is lowered

He probably wasn't going to offer you a rim that they don't have low profile enough tires to fit.

I told him I wasn't gonna buy tires and that I just wanted the rim. Stupid PepBoys doesn't carry Toyos. But I take it the MR7s 17x7 with a 40mm offset and 5x4.5 will fit from my understanding

offset will be close to the same, but, again, they still won't fit, because of the bolt patteren.

and, yes I know you can get wheels adapters, but.....
that will throw your offset out the door!

will 205/55/16's fit on my 1g? I'm getting a killer deal on some Konig Reigns and I just found that size tire for cheap too.

It's not the tire and rim size that you have to worry about, it's the rim offset.

yeah, I'm stupid. I just realized that. The offset on the rims is +40 so I think I should be fine right? The wheels are 16x7's
