It would have to be scaled down a bit, too bulky looking for the front of an MX6. Reminds me of a SpecV or something? It's a Mazda not a Nissan, and definately not a Skyline. Not a big fan of the fog light holes, other than that it's rather nice without being too gaudy, if it was scaled down of course.
The front part is actually from the 97 Mazda Capella wagon FX (J-spec).
The one that has the 165PS FE3 and AWD.
THis capella (Japanese 626) uses the GV platform which is based on the GD platform. And the GD platform is the one our 1st gen MX6/626 uses.
Yep ... they kept using that platform until 1997 ...
The only difference between GV and GD is that the part of the chassis behind the rear wheel is longer for the GV (Wagon). Wheelbase is the same as for the 626 1st gen (and 60 mm longer than the Mx6 wheelbase).
Other opinions ....

pas bête ton idée. tu ferais d'une pierre, deux coups.
Translation: "Not stupid your idea. you would do a rock, two blows." Now we need someone to translate the translation... haha. Looks ok, but I am happy with stock.

C est clair Franck ... ca reste a l etat de projet pour l instant par contre.
BTW the translation was more like:
Hitting two birds with one throw.
Franck knows that I am thinking about getting the 165ps FE3. Getting the front body as well would make the thing worthy (Front cut = Front body + Engine+ Tranny)
The 97 front looks nice to me (i don't like the stock front ... too classic).
