Hey i was just wondering if anyone has ever repalced there carpert . if so how hard was it to do . And whats the best place to get a new one >?

They do free shipping in the US I think...or that might be summitracing that I'm thinking of. Either way, it's worth it for pre molded in any color you want.

i am looking to get a black carpet. so that it matches every thing in my car. what appearrance mods have yous done on the inside ... i will post pics soon... tell me what you think.....

I've done it before. It's not that difficult, but make sure you work with the carpet when it's a little warm (ie have it sit in the sun for a while or use a blow dryer) Even though it's premolded the carpet gets kinks in it from packaging and what not. Also make sure to have a good blade for cutting out the holes.

no... they dont come pre-cut... good idea on letting it sit in the sun for a couple of hourse to kinda mold out... the carpet is really easy to cut short in places... measure twice and cut once... i worked from the middle (shifter and center console) out to the edges. Also i had to re-use the factory plastic clips for under the door sill.

You're asking a lot expecting to have pre-cut, inexpensive aftermaket carpet available for your relatively rare import car. Probably 2 people a year would buy it if it were pre-cut and specific to the 1G.

i ordered a new black carpet for my 6 on wed night and they call me today to tell me i will be here on tuesday that lastest.... i cant wait to install it .

there is a place on ebay that sells carpet that fits the car, you choose color and type. You can check there, my friend bought some and it looked SWEET!!!!

look up mx6 carpet.
