Yup. Take it to a shop and get it done. Acrylic paint is cheaper but doesn't look as nice. Ive seen people just buy the paint and hire a compressor and spray it. But if you want a good finish, you NEED an oven or else you will get little specs and bugs stuck in the paint. Preparation is also a bitch! I've never sparayed a car but i would imagine the preparation and finish to get all the imperfections out is the hard part, and spraying is the easier part.

not all ppl are willing to spend 5000$ on a paintjob, some would be happy with a half decent one if their car is really bad.

It depends how picky you are. Myself, I absolutely hate the look of cheap/DIY paint jobs. They often look worse than faded factory paint.

I agree that a clean environment is a must. If you try doing it in your garage you will have flecks and crap in the paint. You also are not usually going to get a very good finish.

It would cost you the same ammount of money to paint it your self as it would to take it to a decent shop and let them do it. The big part is prep, supplies, enviroment, and equipment. If you dont have the stuff allready then it will cost you alot in inital setup. The best r5out would be to take it to a shop. Just my advice. My dad has painted cars for 40 years and i have a decent amount of experience. Lots of factors can result in you doing a crappy job in the end, then you pay some one else even more to remove your mistake.

Personal experience... trying to get things done cheap is just going te end up being more expensive afterall if you want things to look perfect

unless you don't care what it looks like ofcourse then you can paint it yourself
