Painted my trim black today....

Well i decided i wanted to try something different because my was pretty much just solid white all around. My friend gave me the idea of painting my trim black so thats what i did today.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

I know i just did it, but hopefully it will grow on me. Had the car for almost a year and a half and it was always solid white.

What about painting the rockers and the front lip?

IMO i like the black line on the car, it just doesn't look so plain like it does without it.

it looks good tho

i think it makes it stand out more. Makes it look like a completely different car.

i was also thinking something along the lines like a black mazdaspeed across the bottom part of the lower bumper.

Photobucket | bumper Pictures, bumper Images, bumper Photos

Something similar to this but mazdaspeed. Maybe a decal but i would rather find some kind of stencil

something like this?
Mazdaspeed Decal / Sticker / DECALS BAY

It has no background and is plain black. Can get it pretty much anysize......

i liked the white more. just cause it is different then 99.9% of the mx6's on this forum. but on the other hand, since i know it supposed to be white, it looks like someone was to lazy to tape it off. lol. so i guess im 50/50 on it. both ways have there positive's.

and i REALLY want your damn grill!

Looks good! That's funny, because my trim is black, and I'm thinking about painting it to match the car when I respray it next summer. Sometimes it's just change that looks good. Could be the contrast with a white car too, but props. I also dig your wheels, overall bitchin' ride!

If life was easy, everyone would do it.

thanks. I also had a little free time after work and i painted the rockers black too. I think it looks pretty good as it goes along with the trim.
