My next turbo will be an upgrade for the cummins. It is called a Holset HX40 and is good to 500+ HP on a gas engine. I also bought an H1c, which is a stocker off a 94 cummins, it is good to 400-450 hp.
Those turbos are of very good quality, they use a better design than the old garretts, and are more efficient with smaller physically sized wheels.
Once again, nice times. Pump gas I assume? What kind of tires do you run?
94 MX3: 400+ whp E85 alcoholic. 13.0 @ 114 RIP
01 Yamaha YZ250
04 Suzuki GSX-R600 12.55 @ 115.4
98 Ford Ranger 2wd- 5.0L twin turbo
95 PGT- lowered, 18's, n/a and staying that way
I made a 15.2@102 on a video on this site. My best mph is 14.7@103 and best E/T on boost is 14.4@102. All were on FD rims with Dunlop SP5000 all season tires.
It's not my traction.. it's my 60' with a horrible shifting 1-2 tranny. I just put a STOCK shifter back in so I could hopefully rip it from 1-2 a little easier. Only taken it out for a test drive once and it felt a little better, but still laggy.

ugh i feel your pain, i had a pace[shizzle]ter sts and it was horrid, shorter throw yes but doubled the shift times due to force needed. Lose the shifter and take a few tenths off your 1/4

but good times my freind, that 2nd gear chirp took for ever lol.
Hahahaha, I know his pain. I spin all 2nd gear at the track no matter what tires Im on. I just let it spin, nothing else I can do......
My Pacesetter shifter is fine. You just have to mash it through the gears.

Find me a link to the cheapest that you can find from a company and I can probably get you 10-20% cheaper though the company I'm working with.
Have you tried to reduce rear end squat (stiffer springs) or front rise (shorter struts) ? Keeping weight transfer from happening is the trick.
Well, sometime soon Im going to get adjustable rear struts. Just to stiffen them up for track use. My front struts are already a little shorter. There 2G struts. Im sure the rear adjustables would help a lot. My stockers are getting to the end.
