mounting location for blaster ss e-core style coil>>>>please read>

i just wanted to see some pics or hear some good ideas on where and how to mount my new coil, the coil wire itself is not much longer than stock so it can't be to far from the stock location. also this is not the canister style it is the square e-core style. Any tips would be appreciated!! MSD blaster ss

Why do people post a question and expect an answer back within hours/minutes? Mounting it is pretty self explanatory, mount it wherever you can.

You could most likely mount it in the same location as the stock coil. Which reminds me that I have to take my Blaster2 back to the store and shove it up their booyay.

I think one guy put his inside his airbox. It was a second gen. It was pretty cool but it seems like air restriction. But it is original

Well its a good deal fatter than the stock coil. Why not just mount it on the firewall by the brake booster?

mazda carnage, what exactly did you fasten to, it just sems like no matter how i position the coil it doesn't sit flat enough. i can't go to the firewall beacause the coil wire is to short, it's designed to go to factory spot. i guess i will try fasten it somehow to the stock bracket?

When I get up to the shop I will take a closer shot of the blaster on my MX6 with the bracket cut so yo can see. The coil came with rubber addapters and screws rigth.
The two top ones are right in the frame at the strut tower and the lower one is in the bracket, the pictures will help, I will try to remeber to take them this evening.
