FPR that is boost sensitive?

Ive tried to search this topic and cant really find what Im asking for. Is there a FPR that is boost sensitive? Or are they all? IDK. Also, say if i was going to run 440cc injectors with my setup, check my sig., would i be able to set the innjectors so they dont run to rich or lean with the adjuctable fuel pressure regulator? I know this is a pretty dumb ? but I need to know these things. Thanks and please dont flame me.

AFPR's are based on boost/vacuum signals. stick with Aeromotive AFPR's and you'll be happy.

Would i be safe with running the 440cc's or what. Or should I go with 370cc?

get that done above...then you'll know how your fuel is. stock boost level, your fine. get a walbro 190lph fuel pump if you're going to up the boost past 12psi. find out where your car is at fuel wise, then come back.

To run 440's you'll need to bring the base fuel pressure lower than stock (~36 psi). Then you'll need a way to bring the fuel pressure back up during the onset of boost (FMU or Standalone).

Yeah, sounds like a good unit...but for $350, you can have a full standalone setup.

Yeah nobody makes a standalone for that cheap unless you put one together like a MegaSquirt.

I'ts a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake, if the way is hazy

stock fuel pressure regulator is 1:1. For every one pis boost, your fuel pressure is raised 1 psi.

For more fuel that wont sacrifice driveability and only add when you need it (in boost) check into a begi/cartech FMU. You can adjust the ratio of gain and even onset. Its a bit pricy ($250 ish) but more reliable than any other FMU.

Yes I would half to agree the cartech is a very good unit, Ive got a buddy with a boosted neon (gs eclipse) that uses that unit and it works very well. As for a standalone for 350 or under your nuts. Even the megasqirts cost alittle more than that unless you put all the components together your self!

89 MX6 slightly used, good compression 150 across the board, stock turbo for now
