I know, I hate it too. I loved the old turbo, where you wouldnt spin with the foot to the floor Now I actually have to control how hard I put my foot down.
Though the other night, I was still pulling on a newer 3.1L Impala all the way thru 3rd, while the tires were spinning the whole time

If youre trying to make a point that it wasnt too big of a turbo because it has power in 1st-3rd gear, then thats not a very good point. Maybe you didnt actually read the thread?

How does the 16g or a big 16g fit into all of this? I'm not much into understanding the whole mapping thing, which is to my detriment, but my setup seems to work much better than stock and the mileage is up-pulls like a mutha too! Don't have any 1/4 mile times cause it's not a drag car, but I love it on the road course...
