I know, I hate it too. I loved the old turbo, where you wouldnt spin with the foot to the floor

Now I actually have to control how hard I put my foot down.

Though the other night, I was still pulling on a newer 3.1L Impala all the way thru 3rd, while the tires were spinning the whole time

Whats the point you're trying to make? Easy to sound like you had one when you dont mention it. I did read the whole thread, and still cant figure out what the hell point you're trying to make.

If youre trying to make a point that it wasnt too big of a turbo because it has power in 1st-3rd gear, then thats not a very good point. Maybe you didnt actually read the thread?

Ya'll could just come up to higher altitude, on the dyno I currently make more power than Eric but I definitely can't spin through third like that, even on [shizzle]ty tires

2nd is still pretty stupid though...

Defiler, I have multiple Mazda cars, and yes one of them is Carmen (Say Hello to Carmen)

She is prepped to autocross in STX and has a LSD, but certainly no turbo.

Goldy has a VF-30, 20+psi 270whp 310wtq and has bested 13.7 @105 w/ 2.2 60'

How does the 16g or a big 16g fit into all of this? I'm not much into understanding the whole mapping thing, which is to my detriment, but my setup seems to work much better than stock and the mileage is up-pulls like a mutha too! Don't have any 1/4 mile times cause it's not a drag car, but I love it on the road course...
