After i see this http://www.mx6.com/forums/1g-mx6-for...flowbench.html (Flowbench This!) i take the decision to try litle porting, since i have the head out it is easy to start.

Here you can see before, later i will post after, and some step by step.

Enjoy, and say what you have to say.

Tomorrow i will try to show some work done, but remember it is made by hand with 3 dreamel, no especial tools or CNC machines.

Those stock ports looked rougher than most. Are you going to enlarge the exhaust ports for a bigger manifold ? Stock is 1.4" I went to 1.625"

1990 2.2 Turbo mx6, stripped body ,CT26 Turbo,water-Air intercooler, Hi-flow intake and head, Bully clutch, Megasquirt.
Also a 1993 MX6 2.0L and a 1994 Black MX6 V6 (RWD project)

Yes these ones are rougher, in and out, i didnīt see other original to compare, but for shore this ones were not good.

Do you have pictures of other ones original.

Iīm going to match the size of exhaust with gasket, because i will use the stock manifold (i donīt have other)

I will try later to post some more pictures.

This is not a big porting, first i donīt want too much, and also i donīt have machines to make better work.

Where in Europe are you ? Can you get Kress power tools ? They are made in germany and make nice grinders and routers.

Iīm about 3.000km from Germany, but i can get it because i have contacts, but the problem is time, i have to get the car ready in short time, iīm running one 1.2 Renault with only 65HP (man i have time to see all the details on the road) maybe in next chance i will make it better, but it is already much better than it was, also iīm going to fit the Tbird, i have clean the carbon on pistons, intake and bigher intercooler is on the way, so lets see the result.

Why not send it off to a company like Extrude Hone - Deburring and Surface Finishing
High Performance, High Output Racing - GetHoned
AFM Process - Extrude Hone Powerflow
Parts Processing Price List - Extrude Hone Powerflow
