Another WRX BOV question

I bought a non-STI WRX BOV on ebay for cheap-cheap (so it's no biggie if I can't use it) and it goes off at around 20 PSI, as far as my research has yielded.

Q: With an intercooled (read: massive Volvo 740/850 IC) T03 (also from Volvo 740) will this BOV be adequate, or will it never go off, ruining my F2?

I know that the turbo is capable of making 12 PSI, and that the builtin wastegate limits that to 7PSI, which I hope to control later with a manual boost controller.

Blow off valves aren't controlled by boost pressure, they're controlled by vacuum.

If this is what your research tells you, you need to do MORE homework.

Read Plastic Endtanks by Volvo. Get an Evo 8 intercooler. Also, did you get a Subaru Bypass Valve, or a knockoff valve?

I would stave off the manual boost controller, heck, the entire project until you do more homework.

Really?
