Its for another O2 nut, I didnt have one, but they guy who is welding it, said he'd get another one for me and weld it in.

The top one is for the ECU O2, the one half way down is for the wideband.

i put my wideband MUCH further back on mine, its where the cat would be. also if you have a nicer wideband like the lc-1, you wont need the 1st one for a narrowband, as it can emulate it for you (and still have a 2nd wire for wideband use (gauge, whatever))

Now that looks like a nice flowing dump!
How come your getting all these bends in the mail? Is it cheaper than going to an exhaust shop to get it bent and welded?

Yes...bends are about $12ea, and I dont put a dollar figure on my time when I do work on my car.

Also, I can shape it how I want, and spend the time getting it right.

Originally, I was just going to get a shop to do it, they took one look at how much room there was...and they didnt want a bar of it. Its really fiddly work, for most places its not worth their time, or they charge you quite a bit.

There also would have been the issue of how to get it to the shop, I would have needed to tow it there, or drive it with no exhaust for 30mins.

I was going to tack up something temporary to get it to the shop, then I thought, i'd be doing 3/4 of the work in doing that, I might as well just make it myself, apart from owning a stick rather than a MIG, the rest is relatively straight forward.

Good move getting someone with a MIG to weld it. You can hire them at home and here for not toooo much money. Perhaps look into that?
