Summit Racing ignition?

Do you think i would see any type of gains or any better fuel economy with the new summit racing coil and box?

I like the way you think six. The stock ignition system is more than efficient for a stock motor. The stock ignition systemes even work extremely well with a bigger turbo bigger injectors.....blah blah blah, you get the idea.Leave the ignition alone and spend your money elsewere.

thx i wasnt too sure i was just wondering if it would atleast give better fuel economy or something along those lines.

i have another question too about my gt.the car idles very high like 2000 or above from wat i can hear and where i have sprayed windex and carb cleaner i can see no vacum leak what else could make it idle high?
it had a leakin exhaust manifold gasket when i bought it and it would idle crazily until me and my dad fixed it now it just sticks at 2000. any ideas on what making it do this?

yea so how do i got about checking the egr valve? just remove it and clean it? for the record once the car warms up it seems to idle at around 800 to 1200 but it pulses up on down in between those rpms. i tried messing with the screw in the throttle body to see if it would do anything and it lowered and raised it a little but seemed to not have a big impact can someone tell me how many turns theres is out?

should be able to pull it off fairly easy, just a couple bolts holding it on.

in that how to it says to reset the ecu what will that do? do you think if i reset the ecu without cleaning it would have any effect on the crazy idle
