a/c delete help.

i have a 91 mx6 gt, 2 wheel steering non abs, with a/c and power steering. .. i want to take the a/c out, i hear that if you get a mx6 with non a/c you can take that braket and pulley and put it on . so would i use that same belt or need a different one?. i noticed that some of the hoses go through the firewall is there anything else i can take out ?.any info would be much appreciated. thanks

same belt. the lines can be removed, the condenser in front of the radiator can be, and the evap canister next to the passenger headlight can be. theres even 3ish relays and a small chunk of wiring harness that can be removed. if your anal, you can even pull apart the dash and remove the rest under there.

yah i already have the condensor out, and do you mean the 3 relays by the passenger light mounted on a bracket ?. down beside the radiator, i thouhgt one of those would be for the fan . and what excactly do you mean by the evap canister and the stuff in the dash?.

hey. What he means is removing/venting out the gas in the canister. Its the cylinder that looks like a mini black fire extinguisher LOL. And by under the dash, he means all the components of hoses and whatnot. I'm going to remove mine. Gonna get rid of the condenser, canister, pump and all the lines up to the firewall. I'm not pulling apart my dash LOL.
