That 3.5in dp is gonna be fun to build. I just finished my 3in dp for my he351ve, and it barely fit (then again my exhaust housing is HUGE)
'91 GT - Holset HE351VE (VGT) and MS - FS/Part Out!

'96 240sx - ebay build + EFR turbo and MS ex-MTSU Formula SAE - not mine, but i got to build it and drive it! My IHI turbo page

it fit but bearly, since the turbo drain is going to the oil pan, but are you using the stock holset housing? to me they are too big, get the standard t3 exhaust and bore it out to fit the turbo. you will have tons of weight.
seems like the gt35r turbos are out these days, and people are going with precision turbos to make big power. i am curious to see what kind of numbers it'll make on the f2 though
1991 gt - still busted
1999 626 kl manual
2002 maxima

yeah, i'm still using that monster. IDK that I could switch to a T3 housing as the housing is V-band clamped to the center section. But I think the VGT will be fun to mess with, even though it is WAY heavy.

a good reason ppl are goin away from garret is becuz they are being made in mexico now and ever since then ppl are complaining about them basicly blowing up. if u got an older one great but if its brand new or close keep an eye on it. lucky i got an american gt28

and the smart ones are getting there GT series garrets from precision. lol. if you can afford an 1800 turbo that is. cityracer has been running a precision custom GT30 for the last few years.

If you ask me, thats not smart to pay that much for a turbo. that you cannot rebuilt if it a ballbearing. also precision turbo uses chinese part. thats why garrett seperated themselve and end their partnership. 25 in every 60 turbo precision sells now get returned for defective being defective. thats a lot compare to even ssautochrome. but hey if you have the cash and feel like wasting it, then go fo it. i will stay with my little gt35r,holset and the pony crappy turbonetic 50 trim and h trim
I knew 7 people personally that just bought prec turbos and sent it back due to bad bearing/seal. timsturbo stop selling precision turbo because they keep failing. and just google precision turbo and you will see. even radar/sadomme on here i remember couple month ago having a seal problem with his new billet precision turbo. though the problem lies on most the billet wheel turbocharger. new precision design. but i do have a t61 from precision i bought but sold it to buy the holset. never really use it.

i saw one of those billet wheels for the first time this weekend. they sure look fancy
the billet wheels are more of a hype than anything.in order to notice a difference, you will have to run boost in the high 20s compare to the counterpart. same goes to the over hyped borg warner extended tip turbos
