Sounds like you need to loosen the timing belt a bit (or replace the pulleys), but otherwise nice looking install.

In for ripper vids!

Phil, you got a write-up for how you did the AFPR? Or did you follow that Schwine's write-up?

“One thing I’ve noticed over the years is that if you drive into London at 6am, half of the cars on the roads are Porsches and Astons. Whereas if you go in at ten to nine, they’re all Renaults. Simple solution, then. You want a nice car? Get up earlier and do more work.”

Cool! That'd be much appreciated, i've been slacking on that, and i'm about to tear back into the MX6 to get her buttoned up for winter duty, and this was on the list.

I DID get far enough to verify that the 2nd gen fuel rail adapter for AFPR would work, but didn't get any farther.

the adapter: you can cut the stock fpr diaphram up and thread a 10mm bolt, will fit in that hole to block it.

the end of the fuel rail thread is m16x1.5 pitch. so you can use it with 1/4,5/16,3/8 barb or 6an like i did. im about to put another together today, i will take a detail pic for you.

Are you sure ab out that?

M16x1.25P is not a standard thread by any standard (JIS being the standard that Mazda mostly used)
I think you'll fine it's either M16x1.5P or M14x1.5P.

here is a video from cell phone today, finally dried from raining whole week, 15mph from 2nd gear to 100mph, had to slam on the brake since im coming up on traffic. broke 2 stud already from manifold, will probably upgrade to 10mm tommorrow. will post video of 0-150mph when i load it from my camera.
the car is running a little richer now due to exhaust leak. wired the hks fcon in it with gcc. runs great otherwise

had couple of races with the car so far, ran a member here gt with stock turbo and 15psi from a dig with him getting 7 car headstart to 1/4 mile and he got yanked really bad, 10+ cars lenght, kill list involve 3 2005+ gt, 01 cobra, turbo civic ls, b16 turbo civic, colbat turbo. accepting application for a the local fast gt to compare . preffered gt with big turbo and fuel. pls no stock turbo crap lol

I think it might have to do with the way the turbo comes to life, really fast and violent, it car wont stop spinning but still accellerating, you having seem nothing , wait till you see the 4th gear and 5th gear pull. i have no idea but the car accellerate and hard to keep straight without pulling away from the road, i have to pay really close attention.

My turbo reacts similarly.... but even when i ran 20psi, it didn't act like that.

I guess that said, i've got solid mounts and my entire front end is new, so that might be it.

Car looks like it moves pretty good!
