If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for each set separately? Also, what did you have to tell them? Just, I need pistons for an f2 and this compression ratio? Or did you have to give them skirt measurements and all that other bull[shizzle]?

no I just gave then the old custom piston number they made for the f2t 2 years ago, and told then to make it in stock bore size 86mm, and compression ratio, If you need the custom part number,pm me. just tell them to make it in whatever bore size you desire. Then already have all the measurement and spec of the stock piston.
also i do have cp/carrillo custom number and probe industries pistons #
but they are a bit pricey,
wiseco will cost you $580 for the set
probe industries will cost you $600
cp is $810 if you buy 1 set or $680 if i buy 2 set.
Thanks a lot for the info, I appreciate it. I'm gonna subscribe to this thread. I might pm in the coming weeks depending on when my income tax comes in. Thanks ademan.
And mx_masta, I've wanted an Fe4j cam for quite a while now and I don't know where to get one. It's more of a top end cam rather than the stock f2t cam correct?
So are you planning on running e85 on the high compression motor? I think that would be best for that setup. We have to get your ms working. I told you I'd work with you on it if you're willing to make a drive one weekend.
Static or Dynamic? What is the dish volume in CC of the pistons? Both sets please. Weight in grams too.
All the piston i have ever seen or acquired have been less weight that stock,
my je piston is 87mm vs stock 86mm and then weight considerable less. i still have the piston set somewhere, i can re weigh it if i can find a scale. but the piston /rod combo is about half the weight of stock piston rod combo.

Thats was the plan to run e85, possible nitrous. I dont know yet. but im still deciding what motor i need to put the 10.1 comp piston. maybe my na-T. maybe. i dont know. also i need to get the megasquirt working. do you know how to get the ms1 working on coilpack, i bought a escort coilpack setup on ebay, comes with vr sensor and 36-1 wheel. i will love to get rid of the distributor if i can, how about i buy you a ticket and you come here, maybe thats might be easier for you? let me know . i bought another sds ecu to install on the car, but i will really like to get the megasquirt back up .
Piston rod combo using which rod? Stock rods or the pauters? From what I understand stock rods are forged, at least that was the end result of that thread. Sick you were in that thread and I think you were too ademan. It was said that there's no casting marks on the rod or something? If this is the case I'm just gonna stick with stock rods. It's said they can handle 350 easy. I know that number was probably pulled out of someone's ass, but if its a good tune and you don't miss a gear, I don't see a problem using them.
I know you have pauters from earlier threads, but with the weight comparison which rods were you referring to?
6262 is a reall good turbo. and with 10:1 you should spool that fine. But you better look into revvin that bitch to get the good out of that turbo.. {I myself will be doing 9:1 with a 5858 with a billet wheel.. so it will be interesting to compare.
