i want to get some brighter bulbs since mine are kinda brown and dont look good. does anyone know what the code or whateva is for the bulbs? are they the same as Oz spec?
i tried to get blue bulbs a while back (thank god i didnt!) and they said i had unusual bulbs that are mainly used only in Hondas (eww) but i can easily get the high beams but whats the point cos they are REALLY bright as in better than dads AU Falcon

hey guys can you keep me updated on this? If you find a shop that sells the proper ones, I'd like a set. They don't sell them here at all, the Hondas don't use them here either.
I don't have a problem getting the highbeams either...H1s seem to be a popular size.

well thats pretty gosh darn stupid isnt it! so does that mean we have to get factory Mazda lights? that sux, unless tek is right.
i might go to the light shop i went to last time cos the 1st time i went there they said they had one and i looked at it and it was identical to me. then i went to get them a few weeks later and they said they dont exist
so is 702k like H4?
yeah it is easy to get the high beams just the low beams are a biatch

702k looks almost identical to H4 but it has a smaller base and th filaments are configured differently. The only real place to find them is Japan (check out the www.raybrig.co.jp site) or some country where they have an aboundance of JSPec 626's/Civics. Lots of shop will have no idea what the bulb is or pass it off as an H4
i 'should' be able to find them cos 75% of NZ cars are Japanese imports so you'd think theyd bring some in. when i went the first time the guy said they were 40 each. H4 for super white or arctic blue cost $35 for two

tek great to see you stayed in the MX6/626 realm. I see you got your FE3 in the 88. I LOVE these headlights!! they light up the road like no other! The stock us ones suck @$$.
My dad lives in Japan...I had him try to get me a pair but he couldn't find any. He went to a local auto shop (autobaccs; name of store)... he said all they had were the H-series bulbs.
So the 95ish civics in the US had them too??? or is that JSPEC only?
If anything, when I go to Japan in the summer I'll go to a mazda dealer and pick up a set.

sigh, i went to the light place today and they only have replacements nothing better, in fact worse. my bulbs are 55/45 and they had 50/45 still cost $40 each thou.
why do car makers have to be so stupid and annoying?
i just treated my lights to an alignment adjustment to make them better
