Brake Fluid BLEEDING

Whenever I change my disc brakes, I am always with the dilemna of asking my wife to help me out bleeding the brakes.

The way I bleed my brakes is a two person task. I get a friend or
my wife to pump the brakes 3 times and on the third time I have them keep it pressed down, while I release the bleed valve on the caliper.

Is there anyway this task can be performed by one person.

If anyone has any ideas on this please reply.

If you have patience you can do it by gravity: leave bleeder open and let fluid got out with air.

Or buy a 1 man bleeding tool

As mentioned, there are nice one man bleeder kits available with a check valve so you can pump the brakes until you fill up the little bottle. They also make replacement bleeder screws that do the same thing and are pretty handy if you ask me.

I'ts a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake, if the way is hazy

DYOEL182/BLADE666,
Thanks for the quick reply. I will look for those bleeder kits, hopefully they won't be too costly.

Is there a way of making a bleeder kit?

I'm sure there is, but the $5 kit comes with a bottle, hoses and needles which you probably couldnt put together for $5. Most part stores should have them in stock.
