Fuel Assistance Needed *Troubleshooting*
ok guys i have searched thru the forum and i need for someone to tell me
this:
1) when installing a FPR do u have to condem and remove the pulse regulator at the head (dizzy side) of the rail. The reason i ask this is beacuse i have installed a walboro pump and the aeromotive FPR both correctly but not matter how much i adjust the FPR the a/f ratio guage & the engine shows no change. So i was wondering whether of not that regulator act as a restriction.
2) ok basically here is what i have - a basic f2t setup, stock everything except for fuel delivery & 2" piping. Now here is the strange thing. I have adjusted the FPR to a little as 20psi and the car runs perfect, however when i cross 30psi i start to bogg down under acceleration now and then.
The stock FPR is drilled out so can that pulse regulator cause any problems, running out of ideas.
I know that 32psi is the recommened fuel pressure but i bog down after about 5000rpm there. According to my car 20psi is perfect. Am i going crazy!!!!!!
Yes I do have a pressure guage
Yes everything is hooked up correctly
DO I HAVE TO GET RID OF THE PULSE REGULATOR or can it stay is basically what i am asking
Thanks
