It would prolly be cheaper/better to buy a turbo mx6 that is still running, so you can DRIVE the engine to your house and put it in YOUR MX6. UNless, of course, the one you find is in better shape than your NA. I say, for the price these things are selling for, drive your NA til its dead, then buy another MX6 if you like them that much, but get a Turbo. Once you go boost, you never go back.

Btw, are these things crap?

I've been trying to find a decent donor motor, but not having much luck. I saw an ad for a GT in Commerce City for a grand, but by the time I found the ad, the car was gone

sweet, sounds good. Give me a call if ya see anything, I'll send ya my number through a PM. I saw a GT on craigslist back in April that was in Aurora going for 700, car ran great but the guy had to go to Texas and couldn't keep his car. I wish I would have had the money back then for the swap.

It depends. Most of the times it is hit or miss. GT's are generally hard to find, for me at least. DX's and LX's are pretty common, but there have been a few times I have gone to the yards and haven't found jack. The yards I generallly check are Pull 'n Save in Aurora http://www.pullnsave.com , Western near Rocky's Autos on Federal, and I have also checked out Action in Aurora. Not exactly sure on the cross roads though. Where are you at?

haha wow, $75?

There WAS a place called Mazda Only in Denver Area. Then there was a guy that used to build Mazdas up near the old Airport, BMC racing or sometiing like that, Maybe B&M raching?
They used to have yards full of mazdas.
Also there was a guy named Louie that owned Rotary Performance in Denver area... mostly rotaries, and its been several years, but I suspect he is still around.
