#1)no abs spines on na driveshafts (not that woried atm will wate till i get turbo gearbox)
#2)canot find the dam inhibitor switch wiering done some searching with now luck
#3) the shift lynkages from the na box hit the 4ws shaft and the swaybar and willnot fit up atall
only 3 i can think of atm but im about to hit the dam thing with a sledge hammer any advice that dosent consist of replacing the gearbox or removing the 4ws .... ?
keep me in touch of you it goes, I have an automatic and tought about turning it into a manual since my car has only 107 000 miles on it and is in better shape than most manuals selling here in canada.
as for the inhibitor wiring I got rid of my inhibitor switch this summer, it is underneath the battery
1988 MX-6 LX and ATX but in really good condition, Blue, 109 000 miles,
take the battery out, take the metal stand for the battery there are 4 or 5 bolts on it, you have a pillar, there is a couple of cables protected by one black plastic rubber and hanged to that pillar. Hint: look on the top of the transmission, follow the big white cable who is going towards the front right part of the engine bay, it passes under the battery and goes towards the bumper
hope I gave you the info you needed
if you need wiring diagrams I know there is some thread on here with all the scans of the shop manual I am looking for it right now

Wrong part for wrong model... save yourself the grief and find a nice turbo box and linkages, and you'll need different halfshafts too.
As for the hitting on the 4WS shaft... you've gotta have something in the wrong place. From my experiences the shift linkages are the same between 2WS and 4WS (or at least appear to be between N/A 2WS/4WS).
If I gave my MX6 as much attention as I gave my Fiero, I'd be around here far more often!
#1)well the only thing stoping me from this workin is the shift linkage its all bolted in
#2)there is only one way to put the linkages in and one way to put gearbox in so i dont see how i can have either in the wrong way mate

I'm not understanding why you wouldn't have done it in the first place? People junk these cars all the time and I'm sure you could find one if you looked. I bought an extra at the junkyard for only $60. Seems like shelling out twice that would be worth it for the trouble you're going through. But then again I'm the type that figures "If you're not going to do it right, don't do it at all."
ppl might junk them alot in the usa but not here in Australia turbo box costs $1000 around here if i could find a cheap spare mx6 id buy it and use it but no sutch luck
