Gauge pods for first gen.

Someone just a while ago had a post about a bulk buy on gauge pods for first gen. I can't find the thread, but am ready to buy -or at least be put on the list. Please help - I just ordered my boost and A/F gauges!

We had a good bulk buy going but it was abandoned...

You know how our A-pilar trim, unlike many cars, continues past the top of the windshield and along the side window? Well the people who were molding our gauge pod trim couldn't do a pice that long, so they expected us the cut our trim and splice it with the piece they molded, and then paint the whole thing. A lot of us didn't like the idea of cutting up our trim, and others just bailed out for various other reasons. This is why the guage pod trim bulk buy fizzled out last time, to my understanding.

Thanks - I'll stop looking for that post! Any other pods for other applications that will work, or even be close? I'm not afraid to experiment and modify! What is everyone else using? I just hate the idea of mounting them clear down below the radio, it seems like they'd just be too hard to see, especially under the circumstances in which you'd really be using them LOL!
