Allright well I come to you guys after about 2 weeks of searching and tinkering with my car. I have a decent oil leak on the passenger side of the motor. After alot of searching I have come to the conclusion that it is most likley the front camshaft and crank seals. My alternator is being soaked in oil only on the side faceing the wheel well and there isnt a hint of oil on the other side of the alternator faceing the block so I dont think its the rear main or the oil filter its all dry back there. So I pull my timing belt covers off and the timing belt realy doesnt have a bit of oil on it not a single trace . This is not tranny fluid seeing that is red and I dont think its my power steering because the leaking fluid is black like oil. This has me baffeled only half the alternator gets oil on it and the timing belt is totaly dry grrrrr, from what i have searched any problem that is similar to this is the crank/cam seals. Here are some pics.
Just for fun heres what the part store tried to fight with me telling me is the front crank and cam shaft seal, when i reality im pretty sure it is the rear main seal, little to big.

i had big oil leak in same areas as you. replaced my cam and front crank seals-identical parts-which solved problem.
perhaps now, your principal leak is only from the front crank seal which is why you had no oil on timing belt.
in my case, my timing belt was fairly clean also.
if you are asking if that seal picture is correct size for above, my gut says it is too big.
search of my name should yield old treads on my how to replace those 2 seals.
now if i could only replace cheaply -too big for my DIY-my leaking rear main seal. my garage quote says 6 hour labor for a $10 part.
Allright good you guys are making me feel much better. Oh yea I know its the rear main I allready returned it and ordered 2 of the front crank seals which yes are identical. I sure hope it fixes it I cant wait to be able to have a nice clean engine bay. Oh ya and the real real loud belt squeel for the first few minutes because of the oil that sucks. Thanks for the input guys
On a side note, the motor has to be pulled or atleast recommended to do the rear main seal. I believe mine is fine because there is no oil on the back of the motor and none on the side of the alternator that faces the back of the block just wondering for future refrence.
