coolant bypass pipe assembly

I recently added antifreeze in my radiator and notice a big leak. Now, its coming from the what's called the bypass pipe that connects to the water pump. Well its not connected on my car anymore but the o'ring is still on the pipe. Does anyone have any pics of that area? I tried put the pipe back in but its very difficult and Im not sure if Im missing something.

It's normal for it to be very difficult to do. There's not a whole lot of space in that area...

First off, Thanks for the pic Magic. Where did you get that book at?. I have both Manuals and couldnt find anything. However I was able find some engine rebuild pics here and the pipe just goes in with the o'ring on it. And defiler, your right, Ive been trying like heck to put it back in, put something is stoping it, not giving me any slack. So Im gonna unbolt the other part and pop it on that way. On a side not... I finally got this car running, after sitting for 2 years. and, safter new piston rings and valves. My friend help me jump it. Here I had a new battery, trying to start the car. These guys at Advance Auto said the battery was good after a load test. They were full of crap had me scratchin my head.

That pic is from the 1991 Mazda Workshop Manual written by Mazda Motor Corporation themselves. What 2 manuals do you have? Hopefully not Haynes/Chilton.
