Damn I wish that you were on the board when I posted this like a year and a half ago when I first did it. Do a search then if you can't find it then I'll tell you, Besides I forgot I'd have to go look. So let me know if you find the old post, I posted step by step instructions, but I'm not sure how long the board keeps posts It's really easy to tell you the truth and it looks tight

I have done that recently.
On the outermost park light bulb, pull back the black shrink wrap and there is a red wire in there somewhere. Just splice it in to the red wire of your turn signals. Very Easy!!!!

Blinking Parking/Headlights

Pyro, did you notice if when your parking lights are off and you use the turn signal that your parking lights will flash too?

(That's if you used the parking lights as a source of power for the turn signal lights. If you used the headlights as a source of power then your headlights would flash.)

I suppose one could use the mod and then not use the turn signals anymore.

I found a connector coming from the turn signal light with the red wire you talked about earlier at both the driver and passenger side. I jumpered it into the green wire at the top of the same connector. (Don't use the Black wire, it will short and blow the fuse.) By doing this I was able to light up the turn signal lights using the power from the parking lights.

The overall effect of this mod is cool when the parking lights are on. Though I might add that when the parking lights were on and I used the turn signal you really couldn't tell the turn signal was even blinking. Maybe I have a single filament turn signal bulb?

A way around this dilemma is to use a relay. Then when you turn on the parking lights the turn signal lights are on. And when you turn on the turn signal it will act normally and not flash the parking lights. I suspect a flasher relay would do the trick. But I couldn't tell you how to wire it up correctly without tinkering with it first myself. Bet it wouldn't be too hard to figure out. Maybe someone reading this knows how to do it and could post it.

I took a picture of the connector and placed some arrows on it to show where to put the jumper. However the instructions in the posts are really pretty easy to understand without the picture. But if someone wants to see it let me know I'll put it up.

Yeah, noticed that too. That would be way too confusing to other drivers and they probably would think you had some really weird wiring problem.

But I bet if a relay would work perfectly.

I think that you guys are making a very easy mod WAYYYYYY to hard. I don't have that problem at all, if I did then I wouldn't have done it. I'll have to look at my car friday and re-explane how I did it. GEEEZZZ!!!!! Plain and simple when I use my signal it works like it has before, normal, only the turnsignal turns on. When the lights are on... everything is on just like normal... except the turn signals, they are now on also. I was pretty sure that my insturctions were very simple, but I don't know. This job should only take about 10min per side. So if your cutting a bunch of wires and putting them all back to gether and making relays and all kinds of confusing stuff then your doing some thing wrong.

a pic is worth a thousand words, I'll try and borrow my dad's dig cam and explain this fully. Just by looking @ the wire, I figured out how to do this on my OWN.
