Where 2 install the oil pressure sender on n/a f2?

I have recently got an oil pressure gauge and I need 2 put the sensor on the end of a pressurised oil line. this would b all good if i had a turbo f2 but mine is n/a. What is the best thing 2 do 2 install the sensor? would I have 2 relocate the oil filter or are there still the holes on the block for the turbo models i could just use???

get yourself an oil sandwich plate and put it behind the oil filter then BAM four 1/8npt ports simplest way, trust me. I just did it.

Yeah, the sandwhich plate is your best bet. Otherwise I cant think of anypace on the F2 where there IS an oil line

Remember thought that the oil pressure sending unit is m10x1 where as all the t fittings you will find are going to be 1/8npt. Try threading that and you will either leak oil or strip a set of threads off into your block. I personally was leaking oil and couldn't take it any more and bought the sandwich plate. Good Luck , If however you find the correct union t to pair the metric and npt fittings post it for future use. Thanks.

Yer im going 2 run with the t-peice idea. No one i asked had even heard of using a sandwitch plate lol so the guy at repco found all of the thread sizes and has ordered the correct adaptor for me.
I might do a "how 2" on installing a oil pressure gauge considering it seems to be so confusing.

Incorrect. You just need to know where to look to find them. Aeroquip makes all sorts of various fittings, and JEgs/Summit carry dozens of other brand also.

Well i did the t-peice. i gotta go and tighten 1 thing but apart from that it works well. it was F*&#ing hard 2 fit though. I spent about 20 minutes trying to make my 23mm socket fit because the 24 had no chance before i realised maybe its af??? so for referance the oil pressure switch is 15/16. i thought i was going nuts .

Im probly going to end up getting a sandwitch plate (i wanted 1 in the 1st place but couldnt find 1 thanks anyway lundgren) when i fit my turbo... u guys in the us have it good coz down here in aus there arent that many parts available 4 our cars.
Thanks 4 ur help
