Your sure your power steerings not working? It could just be that 8 inch spoiler on the back hauling your car's ass around.

The only thing the Haynes manual talks about is replacing the power steering pump, you may want to check the amount of fluid you have as well.

Only a few cars came with the 4ws option, and I don't know anything about it besides the fact that back in the day if the rear-rack got damaged you had to replace it all and that cost lots of money.

The computer "black box" for the power steering is located under the driver's seat.

yes, the GT turbo mx-6 has an electronically controlled power steering (ECPS) rack that is controlled by that box under the seat. the box has a steering effort adjustment on it. The non-turbo does not have this electronic control or adjustable steering effort.

Next time make your subject line a description of your problem, not "all 1stgen owners read!!!". I wont close it this time, but I will the next time it happens.

ANyway, as far as your power steering problem. Make sure the belt isnt slipping, and is your speedometer working correctly? That can have a lot to do with it. The control box is under the drivers seat, but if you're having trouble, adjusting the switch wont help anything. YOu have to get to the root cause of the problem.
